INITIAL SITUATION
Whether newly designed or redesigned, the requirements for pavers vary in different regions of the world. In the Asian market, the chassis and material transport system as well as the innovative high-tech components of the hydraulic system must be extremely robust, efficient and durable in order to deliver top performance. In addition to the environmental influences, they must also be able to withstand untrained operation.
ARGO-HYTOS has been working successfully with international road construction machinery companies for many years. A new approach was adopted for the project planning of a road paver for the Asian region:
- Design and technical discussion between the customer and ARGO-HYTOS in Germany with the involvement of the international team
- Implementation of the prototype process in Europe
- Production of the sample blocks at the plant in the Czech Republic; construction of the prototype machines in Germany
- Transportation of a prototype machine from Germany to India
- Preparation of the production of the pre-series and series blocks in the Indian plant by ARGO-HYTOS Germany
- Delivery of the control blocks from Indian production to the customer‘s Indian plant by ARGO-HYTOS India
SOLUTION
ARGO-HYTOS designed a hydraulic performance tailored to the Asian market. Valves were used that are already installed in European machines. This minimizes the number of global valve variants for the customer.
ARGO-HYTOS also offers worldwide support and spare parts supply.
